About this Event

CASI Sustainability Forum in HKGW | Shaping Inclusive Transitions in Asia: Enhancing SMEs’ Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Change

As climate change, social inequality, and economic transformation converge, economies worldwide face the challenge of delivering low-carbon transitions that are both just and inclusive, particularly for SMEs. In Asia, this requires coordinated policies, innovative finance, and practical local solutions.

During the third Hong Kong Green Week in September 2026, the Capacity-building Alliance of Sustainable Investment (CASI), together with the HKMA Infrastructure Financing Facilitation Office (IFFO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the University of Hong Kong - Faculty of Social Sciences (Global Society and Sustainability Lab), and the CFA Institute, will convene a one-day forum bringing together policymakers, financial institutions, development finance institutions, and market practitioners. The forum will feature keynote speeches and three thematic panel discussions on inclusive transition finance for SMEs, climate adaptation, and practical approaches to strengthening resilience, while reinforcing Hong Kong's role as a regional and international sustainable finance hub.
